What do you pay for?
EOR cost has three parts: the employee's gross salary, the employer's statutory contributions, and the HR4U service fee, which starts from $109 per employee per month.
For Vietnamese employees, employer contributions are 21.5% (social insurance 17.5%, health insurance 3%, unemployment insurance 1%) plus a 2% trade union fee, calculated on the insured salary and subject to statutory caps. From 1 January 2026, foreign employees are not covered by unemployment insurance.
The estimate at the top of this page uses a gross salary of VND 30,000,000 per month. When you request a quote, HR4U sends a detailed calculation for the actual salary and location of each role.
Questions from foreign companies
Is EOR legal in Viet Nam?
Viet Nam has no regulation that names "EOR" specifically. The employment relationship between HR4U and the employee is governed by the Labor Code, the Social Insurance Law and the Personal Income Tax Law. What matters is designing the arrangement correctly from the start, and HR4U explains how it applies to each role before you sign.
Do EOR employees get full benefits?
Yes. Employees sign an employment contract with HR4U and receive all statutory benefits: social insurance, annual leave, public holidays, maternity benefits and severance where applicable.
Can we hire foreign nationals through EOR?
Yes. Under Decree 219/2025/ND-CP, work permits are issued by the provincial People's Committee within 10 working days of a complete application. People working in Viet Nam for less than 90 days in total per year do not need a work permit.
Can we move the team to our own entity later?
Yes. HR4U ends the contract by mutual agreement and your new entity signs a new employment contract. We agree in advance how accrued benefits are handled so employees are not affected.
